There is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel available for shy people
to discuss shyness or other topics.  The channel name is #shyroom and
is on the AfterNet IRC network.  To join #shyroom, connect to the
AfterNet network and then type: /JOIN #shyroom.  Please note that
#shyroom is a secret channel (channel mode +s) and will not appear in
the channel listing when you do the /LIST command (unless you are in
the channel).

Below is an updated listing of AfterNet IRC servers that are
available.  In general, you should choose a server that is nearest you
but can use any other server if you encounter problems with a
particular server.  Also, if you see "Name search failed" when trying
to connect, then use the IP Number instead of the server name.  Note
that this server list changes periodically.
